The Liquor Store is a musical project from young and talented musicians of Montreal. The Store has been promoting its groovy energy since 2015 through major events (FIJM, Festival de Jazz de Lévis, Festijazz de Rimouski etc.) and homegrown tours alike in Ontario, New-Brunswick, Québec and Prince Edward-Island.
With three fresh titles available on all streaming platforms, the group offers a wide scope of takes on various styles - RnB, Funk, Hip-Hop, Soul, Electronica and Jazz.
They seek to offer explosive performances as well as intricate, well-thought, and more intimate rendering when in studio.
Following the success behind their album “NightDrive” which earned them a GAMIQ for best jazz album of the year 2020, the band also got nominated for the Best Jazz Album at l’ADISQ with ”Colossus” in 2022. They also released “The Liquor Store Big Band Vol.1” in late 2023 and are actually working on a pop EP to be released in late 2024.

The Liquor Store est un groupe formé par 7 jeunes et talentueux musiciens de Montréal. Depuis 2015, le groupe promouvoit son énergie contagieuse et dansante à travers de nombreux festivals ( FIJM, Festival de Jazz de Lévis, Festijazz de Rimouski, etc.) et tournées au Québec, Ontario et dans les provinces maritimes.
The Liquor Store offre des interprétations explosives en live ainsi que des performances plus intimes, sophistiquées et réfléchies en studio.
Avec trois disques à son actif, le groupe explore une haute gamme de style - R&B, funk, hip-hop, soul, electronica et jazz - et propose une vision rafraîchissante de la musique urbaine au Québec.
Après le succès de leur album "NightDrive" qui leur a valu un GAMIQ pour le meilleur album de jazz de l'année 2020, le groupe a également été nommé pour le meilleur album de jazz à l'ADISQ avec "Colossus" en 2022. Ils ont également sorti "The Liquor Store Big Band Vol.1" à la fin de l'année 2023 et travaillent actuellement sur un EP pop qui sortira en fin 2024.
